Most days I would not even bring my clothes to dress out.    Though, the only time we would get a grade was when we maxed out. At the beginning of the semester I maxed out at one-thirty-five.  The entire time I attended this class I might have actually bench six times.  However, I did have a strict work out routine that I followed after school.  It included at least fifty push ups a day and progressed monthly from there in trying to learn <a href="http://www.fromskinnytomuscular.com">how to gain weight</a>.</p>
<p>When the day came for us to get our grades I was a tad nervous because I was unsure what my max would be.  I remember lying on the bench looking up at one-thirty-five and wondering if I could even lift that.  My spotter said “ready go” and I took the weight off the rack brought it down and pushed it back up without a problem.  Feeling relieved, I began to see how much weight could lift. <p>Caffeine raises a catabolic (muscle wasting) hormone called cortisol.  The higher and the longer the amount of cortisol is found in the body the more muscle loss that can occur&#8230;which is obviously something you are trying to avoid at all costs.  So, not that you have to avoid them completely, just watch out for them.  Drinks such as coffee, regular tea, and regular sodas all contain caffeine.  So, use with caution.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Now, when I refer to &#8220;gain weight&#8221; I mean it from the perspective of a skinny hardgainer desperately seeking to gain muscular weight and build muscle mass fast.  Now that autumn&#8217;s here, which in my opinion is the best of the four seasons, now is just as good a time as any to begin your muscle building journey.  You can use the huge physiques you see in football as inspiritation.  Imagine what you&#8217;ll look like come spring and summer if you were to engage in the correct workout program and diet, knowing the way to eat to gain weight.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be one of these people that believe in &#8220;New Year&#8217;s resolutions&#8221;, waiting for January 1st to come around and make a promise they&#8217;re not going to keep.  Start now.  Head to the gym and pound those weights.  Visualize yourself with extra muscle mass and quality weight gained.  You&#8217;ll have much more to show for it if you do&#8230;literally!</p>

<p>In IronMan magazine an article was written that may have put to question the famous high protein, low carb approach to eating to gain muscle mass fast.  In part it said &#8220;the main problems with following a high protein, low carbohydrate diet is the increased acidity.  Some claim that such diets lead to loss of muscle, often incorrectly attributing it to a lack of carbs.  It&#8217;s not  the carbs &#8211; it&#8217;s the high acidity; high acid favors more cortisol&#8221;.  In case you didn&#8217;t know, cortisol is a chemical in the body that causes muscle mass to be broken down.  It&#8217;s the opposite of anything that&#8217;s &#8220;anabolic&#8221;.</p>
